Eating your way out of Anxiety and Depressions sounds like a very healthy and fun way to deal with the issue. This sounds alot better than taking pills to me :). Ok lets begin

Omega-3 Fatty Acids:

This allows a better communication between the nerves and the brain. People who do not have enough Omega_3 fatty Acids are more likely to have mood swings than others.Foods that contain this are  salmon,bluefish and tuna, walnuts, flax seeds and pecans,cod liver oil,sardine oil,leafy greens such as spinach, kale,collard greens,Tofu and soybean.

Antioxidant Therapy:

These have been seen to improve ones mood drastically.Foods that contain these are berries, pomegranate, grapefruit, pineapple, wild blueberries,Red apples,broad beans, soy beans, Red kidney beans,peppers, spinach,pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds.

Vitamin D:

It helps to boost serotonin which has a strong effect on the anxiety. Food that contains these are Button mushrooms,Catfish, sardines,eggs, cod-liver oil,Tuna. 

  Amino Acids:

 food that contain these are: poultry, Turkey, tuna ,bananas, baked potatoes, tofu, eggs, milk, cheeses, yogurt, beans, nuts,Soy protein.

Teas and Drinks:

Kava tea: you need up to 300 or more grams of this a day for it have an effect.
Passion Flower tea: Many people have said this one has more effect on them than others. They say it really calms their nerves.
Valerian root tea: This tea is sometimes used when sleep is needed. It relaxes you and causes you to sleep well.
