Join God at his work-Reach out to the Needy

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.(1 John 3:17-18) 

Reach out to those that are in need.We have been blessed by God so we should take time to bless others. We do not choose our backgrounds and we do not choose the challenges that come our way but we can choose to do something about it. We can choose to help those who cannot help themselves,those who are helpless. We can start by praying for them,our prayers go a long way. God hears and he answers prayers.Pray for them just the way you would want someone to pray for you if you were in their situation. Your prayers make a difference.


Let us also take time out of our busy schedule and reach out to the needy and show love. We really do not need to look too far,there are many people who need our help who are around us. Learn to give to those that need and also visit them and show that you care. Anyone could be in that situation, be thankful that you are given the opportunity to reach out to others and be a blessing. Your little gestures of love go a long way.

  Pineapple, Orange & Banana Smoothie This pineapple, orange and banana smoothie is quick and easy to make, and so tasty! Prep: 2 mins Total: 2 mins Ingredients: 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks 2 bananas, peeled 1 orange, peeled 1 cup ice 1 Tbsp. ground flax seed and/or wheat germ (optional) Directions: In a blender, combine all ingredients.  Blend until smooth, then serve immediately.  (If your blender has trouble getting going, you may need to add in a few tablespoons of water or juice to get it started.)
